TECH 2005 -- Women at Work


When: 29-Nov-05 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: HMCS Star, 650 Catherine St.: Bus Route: Bayfront #4, Hamilton, Ontario

TECH 2005 -- Women at Work is coming up on November 29, 2005, and there are still spaces available. TECH is in its 6th year of being offered by the Hamilton Training Advisory Board, and the event is considered to be motivating and interesting for all involved.

This one-day career exploration conference is for women who want to learn more about what occupations in trades and technology have to offer them. It is open to all women who are considering career options.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • DIALOGUE with women who are employed in the trades and technology occupations.
  • PARTICIPATE in hands on activities presented by employers, associations, and educators.
  • GATHER INFORMATION on careers in trades and technology.
  • HEAR SPEAKERS who motivate and inspire.

TECH 2005 will be held on Tuesday, November 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at HMCS Star, 650 Catherine St., Hamilton (Bus Route: Bayfront #4).

Refreshments and lunch are provided free of charge. Pre-registration is required.
